Ichthyol ointment 10% 20 g

Ichthyol ointment is a preparation with antibacterial and astringent properties. It is usually used to treat various skin lesions, especially furunculosis, pimples and acne symptoms. Its effectiveness is due to the presence of an active substance, i.e. ichthyol obtained from dry distillation of oil shale. Ichthyol has antibacterial properties, which may be beneficial in treating skin problems. Additionally, it has astringent properties, which may help reduce swelling and skin irritation. In the case of skin blemishes, ichthyol accelerates the healing process and can prevent superinfection of the lesions.
